Procedure for registration
Registration of Udyog Aadhaar/MSME/SSI units is undertaken by respective state governments. Almost all the states adopt uniform registration procedure which is as follows: Provisional Registration: Units are required to obtain Provisional Registration Certificate before the commencement of the business which will be valid for 5 years. Units can apply for Permanent Registration Certificate in the prescribed form once the business is commenced.
